Setting up fatbrowser for your team

How to create a team, invite members, and use aggregate focus analytics without compromising individual privacy.

What the Team plan includes

The Team plan ($1.99/mo per member) gives you everything in Pro, plus:

  • Team-level aggregate feed avoidance and focus data
  • Member management (add/remove members)
  • Email invites with one-click acceptance
  • Privacy-first analytics — team admins see aggregate trends, never individual browsing details

Step 1: Upgrade to Team

Go to Billing and select the Team plan. You'll be taken to Stripe to enter payment details. Once subscribed, the Team section appears in your sidebar.

Step 2: Invite members

Navigate to Team in the sidebar. Click Invite Members. Enter one or more email addresses. Each person receives an invite email with a link to accept.

You can also send bulk invites if you're onboarding a larger group. Pending invites show up in the member list with an "Invited" badge until accepted.

Step 3: Members accept and install

When a team member clicks the invite link, they're prompted to create an account (or sign in if they already have one). They then install the browser extension and connect it, just like the getting started guide.

What team admins can see

The Team analytics page shows aggregate data only:

  • Team average focus score and total feeds avoided
  • Trends over time (is the team improving?)
  • Member count and invite status

Admins cannot see individual focus scores, browsing history, or which sites any specific person visited. This is enforced at the data layer — the information is never collected at the individual level for team views.

Managing members

From the Team page you can remove members or resend pending invites. Removed members keep their personal account and data but are no longer part of the team aggregate.
